Tecno, Colorado, home appliance company Costco announced Monday that it has announced a program that will allow people to save up to $20 on home heating and air conditioning purchases.
The company said that it will be offering a program starting at 7 a.m.
ET on Monday, Sept. 29, which allows anyone who has an account on the company’s website to log in and save up $10 to $50.
“We want you to feel as though you have control over your home and get the best for your family,” Costco said in a statement.
The program will last for three months.
It’s a significant move for Costco, which last year was the first retailer to offer the program, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The home appliance industry has seen an explosion in interest in energy efficiency, as consumers increasingly turn to lower-cost alternatives to costly traditional energy options.
The increase in energy savings is due to a combination of consumer demand and the advent of new technologies such as electric cars.
Costco says that it is also looking to add other energy-saving features, including a feature that will let customers remotely control the heating and cooling system of their home.
The new program will be available to anyone who currently has an active Costco account.
It is unclear how many people will be eligible for the savings.
The number of people who will be able to save through the program is unclear, as the company has not said how many customers will be participating.
