Tecno, a Taiwanese company, has been selling its home appliances and electronics for about a decade in Canada, but it’s not been easy to get into the market, as it’s an expensive proposition.
Now, the company says it’s bringing its technology to the market and selling some of its products in the U.S.
A new blog post from the company claims to have unlocked a key to the entire Canadian home appliance market, and it looks like it’s going to be a great addition to any home appliance enthusiast.
The tecnos software will let users “order, buy, and register home appliances” using the QR code that is provided on the product’s packaging, and the company promises to give a list of approved suppliers, and a list with price ranges.
The blog post also says that customers can use the app to order from their favorite suppliers, such as Hitachi and Tecnos, as well as “take advantage of other new features in the future.”
It’s not clear how the company plans to sell its products, but the blog post does note that customers will be able to see a breakdown of how much it costs to build a home appliance, which will include the cost of materials, parts, and labor.
The blog post says that it will give “great insight into how consumers have benefitted from the tecnos ecosystem.”
It doesn’t look like the tecnos system will be available to all Canadian customers, however.
It’s likely that the company will focus on markets outside of Canada, and some of the software is already available in the United States, where the company also sells products.
